We have been learning to share and be friendly like the rainbow fish.
We each made a rainbow fish and the children insisted that I share the gold scales so that every fish could have one (instead of mine having them all). The PVA sticks were shared and children took turns dipping their paint brushes into the dye.
We shared the space on the mat and fattened the fish up with scrap paper. We thought about what sharing might sound like.
"Can I please have some", said Yamato.
"Would you like some?" asked Daisy.
Children waited for their turn and shared the trains, trucks, garage and car mat nicely.
What a friendly and happy classroom!
