The triangle and squares group have been packaging up acorns in groups of 10 to help them count them all.  |
They counted up how many packets of 10 they had.
If they had 7
packets, that meant they had
70 acorns altogether.
We checked the answers by skip counting in 10s.
10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70.
