Stepping out - Keeping safe in and around cars

Today Constable Miary came and asked us how we can stay safe when we are in a car.

"Always wear your seatbelt". - Daisy
"Stay quiet so the driver can concentrate". - Dev

Sitting in a booster seat means the seatbelt can go across our chests instead of over our necks.

Sitting in the back seat means we are safe from airbags that may inflate and hurt our faces.

We measured our height and found out that everyone in Room 12 needs to sit in a booster seat when they ride in the car.

We sat in the police car and showed Constable Miary how quickly we can 'click' the seatbelt on.

Then she turned the sirens and lights on for us.
