Our outside clock

Here is Room 12 exploring our outside clock

The clock has a round face with numbers 1 to 12 around the outside. 12 is at the top and 6 is at the bottom.

 We needed a long hand (the minute hand)and a short hand (the hour hand).

This clock shows 6 o'clock.

 

We took turns to move the hands to show the time.  This clock shows 9 o'clock.

 

 We drew a chalk line down half of the clock and explored 'half past'.

 

 This clock shows half past 1.
